Because new technologies and the continuous development of this website may require changes to this Privacy Policy, we recommend that you review it periodically.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g., “personal data” and “processing”) can be found in Article 4 GDPR.

2. Access Data (Server Log Files)

We, Superfood.de, Owner: Martin Gayer, Auf dem Brühl 1, 72658 Bempflingen (Germany), process data about access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and store these as server log files on the website server. The following data are logged:

  • Page visited

  • Time of access

  • Amount of data transmitted (bytes)

  • Referrer URL (source/website from which you came to our site)

  • Browser used

  • Operating system used

  • IP address used

Server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data are stored for security reasons, e.g., to investigate cases of misuse. Where data must be retained for evidential purposes, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been fully clarified.

3. Reach Measurement & Cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymous reach measurement, which are transmitted to the user’s browser either by our server or by third-party servers. Cookies are small files stored on your device; your browser accesses them. Cookies increase the usability and security of this website.

If you do not want cookies for reach measurement to be stored on your device, you can object to the use of these files here:

Most browsers allow you to block cookies in the settings. Note: If you disable cookies, some functions of this website may not be available without restrictions.

4. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

We collect, use and disclose your personal data only where permitted by law or where you have consented to the processing.

Personal data are all information that can be used to identify you and that can be traced back to you—e.g., your name, email address and telephone number.

You can visit this website without providing personal information. To improve our online offering, however, we store your access data to this website (without personal reference). Such access data include, for example, the file you requested or the name of your internet service provider. Due to anonymisation, these data cannot be linked back to you personally.

We process personal data such as first name, last name, email address, place of residence, postal code, and content provided via the contact form in order to handle your request.

We only process personal data with the explicit consent of the users concerned and in compliance with the applicable data-protection provisions.

Processing is based on our legitimate interests in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and in optimising our online offering.

5. Contacting Us

If you contact us using the contact options provided on the website, your details will be stored so that we can access them to process and respond to your request. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent.

6. Comments and Posts

If you leave a post or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored. This is based on our legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and serves our security as the website operator: should your comment infringe applicable law, we could be held liable, so we have an interest in the identity of the author.

7. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics for the purposes of optimising and analysing our online offering on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your device. The information generated by the cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Note on international transfers: The original text refers to Privacy Shield certification. Privacy Shield has been invalidated by the CJEU (Schrems II). Organisations typically rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework today.

IP anonymisation is activated on this website. Within Member States of the EU or other Contracting States to the Agreement on the EEA, the user’s IP address is shortened. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This truncation removes the personal reference to your IP address. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be combined with other data stored by Google.

Under our data processing agreement with Google, Google compiles reports on website usage and provides other services related to internet usage based on the information collected.

We use the data collected by Google on our behalf to analyse individual usage of our online offering, e.g., to create reports on website activity and to improve our online offering.

You can prevent cookies from being stored on your device by adjusting your browser settings. However, if you block cookies, you may not be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions.

You can also prevent the information generated by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google by installing the following browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data within this website by clicking this link (opt-out). Clicking the link will place an opt-out cookie on your device. Your browser must permit cookies for this to work. If you regularly delete cookies, you will need to click the link again on each visit.
